  Description
Melanie Daily joined LSEM in 2008 as a staff attorney in the Lasting Solutions Program. She practices primarily in Jefferson County, Missouri, where she represents survivors of domestic violence in cases involving orders of protection, divorce, paternity, and custody. Before law school, Melanie taught, counseled and advocated for at-risk and adjudicated children in Florida and South Carolina. During law school, Melanie represented survivors of domestic violence in St. Louis City and County through the Washington University Civil Justice Clinic. In 2007-08, Melanie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kathianne Knaup Crane on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. Melanie is a member of the 2008-09 Missouri Bar Leadership Academy, the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis, and The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Education: J.D. from Washington University School of Law, 2007; A.B. in sociology, with honors, from the University of Chicago in 1999.
