MARVIN O. YOUNG: Senior partner in the law firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman LLC since January 1986; Undergraduate education, Westminster College, B.A. 1951; University of Michigan, J.D. 1954. Former general counsel of Peabody Coal Company (1968-1985). Practices primarily in the area of business transactions, corporate matters and alternative dispute resolution. He has extensive presentation and publication experience including arbitration articles for AAA, the National Coal Association and St. Louis Commerce magazine. Member: Missouri Bar, Bar Assn. of Metropolitan St. Louis and the American Bar Association. Founding member and trustee of the Eastern Mineral Law Foundation and the Mining Lawyers Conference. He serves as an arbitrator on the large, complex case panel of AAA and is on the mediator panels of the U.S. District Court and the St. Louis City Circuit Court.
