This CLE highlights Legal Services’ Microenterprise Program, which provides
free civil legal assistance to low-income entrepreneurs and nonprofits.
Attendees will gain insight into the program and engage in a discussion of legal issues it provides, including business formation, contracts, employment law, intellectual property, tax-exempt status, commercial lease review, regulatory compliance and other common small business legal issues and ethical concerns.
Whether advising startups or nonprofits, this session offers valuable tools and resources for lawyers to help these organizations thrive while strengthening the communities they serve.
