Neighborhood Vacancy: Tools & Resources Workshop

Peter Hoffman, attorney with our new Neighborhood Vacancy Initiative, will be a key speaker at this event on April 17th. 

This free workshop will introduce two new resources to help us address the challenge of vacant abandoned property. Participants will get a first look at a newly written guide intended to help local government officials, neighborhood associations, community-based nonprofits, residents, business owners, and other stakeholders better understand how to work together to use existing tools to address the vacancy challenge. In addition, workshop participants will learn about a new initiative housed at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri that will provide legal help to neighborhoods combating vacancy and connect volunteer lawyers with neighborhoods in need.
